AUSTINBURG – Charlotte Ann (Hamilton) Jalovec, 58, died on Wednesday, December 10, 2008 at the Austinburg Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
She was born May 2, 1950 in McDowell, KY, the daughter of Ishmel and Zinal (Osborne) Hamilton.
A 1968 graduate of Ashtabula High School, she moved to Westlake in 1982 and returned to Austinburg in 2004.
A member of her father’s church, the Freedom Worship Center, she accepted Christ into her life at young age at the Revival Center Church. A devoted religious woman, she was known to some as “St. Charlotte” and enjoyed singing and speaking to Women’s Groups.
Humble and sweet, she had a great sense of humor, loved to laugh, and adored her family. She was also very fond of birds and had many birdhouses around her home.
She is survived by her parents of Austinburg; two children, Kimberly (fiance’ John Sharkey) Jalovec of Rocky River and Bryan (Elizabeth) Jalovec of Westlake; two grandchildren, Evan and Madeline Jalovec; and two sisters, Connie Pelton of Ashtabula and Sheila Sines of Bronston, KY.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard; one brother in infancy, Terry B. Hamilton.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held 1 PM on Saturday, December 13, 2008 at the Pentecostal Church of God, 2201 Cook Road, Ashtabula. Rev. Kenneth Roberts, Pastor will officiate.
No calling hours will be observed.
