Frederick Darrel Wright Funeral Services for Frederick Wright age 66, of Oakdale were at 10:30 am Thursday, May 28, 2009 at United Methodist Church in Neligh with Rev. Michael Davis, Officiating. Music was provided by Marie Krohn. Burial was in the Laurel Hills Cemetery. Pallbearers were Doug Sanne, Mike Sanne, Scott Sanne, Alan Snider, Jay Snider, David Finley, David Joe Wright, Dennis Wright, Bradly Wright, Dustin Wright, and Joshua Wright. Visitation was from 5 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, May 27, 2009 at Snider Memorial Funeral Home in Clearwater with a prayer service at 7:30 pm. Fred passed away Sunday, May 24, 2009 at Tilden Community Hospital in Tilden, Ne. Frederick Darrel Wright was born on May 2, 1943 in Stafford Nebraska, the son of Earl and Fern (Butterfield) Wright. He grew up in Ewing, Nebraska. Fred attended School in Ewing and graduating with the class 1961. He went onto College for 1 year. He was united into Marriage April 1, 1962 to Beverly Snider in ONeill, Ne. They made their home in Ewing. Fred was a rancher, farmer, and dairyman with his father and brothers. He also went to Lincoln for a short time to do construction. In 1973, they moved to Oakdale where he went on milking cows and farming on his own. Fred also drove truck for Hobbs and Yelli. He escorted trailer house and was an insurance appraiser for Farm Bureau. He was member of the Lions Club. Fred liked to play cards on the computer. He is survived by his wife: Beverly; Children: Sherry Wright, Phillip and his wife Tammy Wright both of Neligh, Ne, and Earl and his wife Amy Wright of Omaha, Ne. Five Grandchildren: Nathaniel, Trevor, Samantha, Paige, and Derik. Sister: Vivian Tuttle of Ewing, Ne. Brothers: Steven Wright and George Wright both of Inman, Ne. Sister-in-Law: Marcene Wright of Ewing, Ne. Preceded in death by his parents, daughter Julie; a brother David Wright; brother-in-law Thomas Finley and Dean Tuttle. Sister-in-law Helen Sanne. Father-in-law Melvin Snider and step father-in-law Harold Spahn.
