David John Brezarich, 1931 - 2009, passed away on Thursday, November 12 with his family by his side, while listening to his iPod. Dave was a great provider to his family, loving father, hard worker for McDonald Douglas for 38 years, and a very generous man. His love of the outdoors has been passed on to all of his sons and the laughter he shared with his family and friends will never be forgotten. Dave is survived by his wife Rose; son, Mark A. Brezarich; son, Leonard J. Brezarich, grandchildren, Austin, Noah, Emily, and daughter-in-law, Grace; son, Benjamin J. Brezarich, grandchildren, Ali and Ben; son, David J. Brezarich Jr. (deceased); son Salvatore J. Brezarich; brothers, Thomas M. Brezarich, Leonard Brezarich, Edward Brezarich, Mark N. Brezarich, and John Brezarich; sisters, Barbara M. Farkas, Mary E. Godula, Katherine L. Bowersox, Margaret Kreizel, Josephine L. Curran, and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Appropriately, this was the song playing as he went peacefully:
"Remember Me (When The Candle Lights are Gleaming)" - by Willie Nelson
"You told me once that you were mine alone forever
And I was yours till the end of eternity
But all those vows are broken now and we will never be the same except in memory
Remember me when the candle lights're gleaming
Remember me at the close of a long long day
It would be so sweet when all alone I'm dreaming
Just to know you still remember me"
Funeral Mass
