Richard 'Rich' Mosakowski, of Plymouth Meeting, passed away Sunday, Jan. 24, 2010 at Mercy Suburban Hospital, age 70. Husband of Gloria (Petaccio) Mosakowski. Richard was a retired vice president of operations of the former Germantown Savings Bank of Bala Cynwyd. He was born in Conshohocken on July 30, 1939, a son of the late John and Nellie (Koziniewski) Mosakowski. He has resided in Plymouth Meeting for the past 40 years and was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps. He attended the former St. Matthew's High School of Conshohocken. He enjoyed golfing and was an avid Philadelphia Eagles fan. Richard was proud of his Marine Corps Heritage. Besides his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Eva (Ben) Witmer of Royersford; a sister, Constance Bowman of East Norriton; grandchildren: Jake and Ella Witmer; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother, Lawrence Mosakowski. Richard's funeral service will be held Thursday, Jan. 28 at 11 a.m. from the Moore & Snear Funeral Home, 19 E. Germantown Pike, East Norriton with Rev. Richard Olson officiating. Friends may call Thursday from 9:30 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in Valley Forge Gardens, King of Prussia.
