Message from the Family
Thank you for your support during this difficult time. Please enhance this tribute to Linda by adding your memories and photos. She had an unconditional love of animals, so in lieu of flowers please donate to www.spca.org.

Linda Evelyn Mannas Losee
Born April 15, 1947 Died March 15, 2010
Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend. She will be very deeply missed by all those who had the pleasure of knowing her. Linda was a free spirit who had an unparalleled passion for life. She was a skilled photographer and an avid nature lover who always put the needs of her friends and family before her own.
She was born in Houston, TX on April 15, 1947 to Joseph and Evelyn Mannas. Linda was born the second of two daughters. She was very close to her older sister, Gail. They would remain close until Gail's untimely passing in 2000. Linda got married in 1975 to Alan Wilmot Losee, for whom she had known and loved since they were teenagers. She had three loving children; Sloan, Wade and Sarah. Soon afterwards the family would pick up and move to Dallas, which became home. She had a successful career as a tax preparer for H & R Block, and then branched out to form her own tax preparation service, Today’s Taxes.
Her happiest moments always revolved around family. Linda loved nothing more than getting the family all together under the same roof to celebrate holidays or other special occasions. The warmth of her smile would radiate throughout the entire home. This became especially true once she became a grandmother. She truly took the grandmother role to heart. She cherished every second spent with her granddaughter, Alexis.
Linda is survived by her husband of 34 years, Alan; her three children; Sloan (b. 1977), Wade (b.1978) and Sarah (b. 1981), along with her son-in-law Casey McNally and her granddaughter Alexis Gail McNally. She had three nephews whom she cared for deeply; Mark, Charles and Will. She also leaves behind two four legged friends; her faithful Chihuahua, Marsha and her adoring Labrador, Maverick.
Her attitude towards life was contagious and her spirit will live on through all those who knew her. She will be deeply missed.
