Paul “Bob” Hutzler, 88, of Charleston, passed away Oct. 29, 2010, at Thomas Memorial Hospital. He was born at Inwood, a son of the late Ernest and Lillian Dudham Hutzler. Paul was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He was a World War II Navy veteran, a member of Bream Memorial Presbyterian Church, and had retired from Union Carbide. Bob is survived by a daughter, Sandra Hutzler of Charleston; grandson, Brian and his wife, Yukari Hutzler, of New York City; special neighbors that watched after him, Linda Stine and Nancy Boggs and her daughters; and close family doctors, Dr. John Frame and Dr. F. Scott Moore and staff. Memorial services will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday at Bartlett-Burdette-Cox Funeral Home, with the Rev. Ron Buckalew officiating. Friends will be received at the funeral home one hour prior to the services. Memorial contributions may be made to the food pantry of the First Presbyterian Church, Charleston.
