Diane Brand, age 63, of Janesville, died on Monday, Feb. 13, 2012, at Mercy Hospital & Trauma Center. She was born in Chicago, IL on Jan. 13, 1949, the daughter of Kenneth and Marcella (Schaefer) Kerber. She married John A. Brand on Sept. 23, 1967, and had been a Janesville area resident for the past 8 years. Diane was a full time mom; she loved people, and was referred to as Nana. She is survived by her loving husband, John Brand of Janesville; 2 children, Lorrie Brand and Loretta Sathre both of Janesville; 4 grandchildren: Derek, Mason, Starla and Xzavery; sister, Joyce Kerber of Janesville; other extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; and son, John J. Brand. A Funeral Service will be held at 12:00 noon on Saturday, Feb. 18, 2012, at OUR SAVIOR LUTHERAN CHURCH with Rev. Randy Senn officiating. A visitation will be held on Saturday at Our Savior Lutheran Church from 10:00 to 12:00 noon.
