DianaGailBooker age 59 passed away Thursday, February 16, 2012, she peacefully crossed over from this world to a plane of eternal living. Diana was born to Mr. Kelly L. and Lula Mae Booker on July 26, 1952, in Benton, Louisiana. She united with Community First Baptist Church at an early age and became a member in the church choir. She graduated from Roosevelt High School in 1970, and attended Henderson County Community College in Athens, Texas.
She was employed with the US Postal Service where she developed many friendships that lasted long after her retirement.
She leaves to cherish all her loving memories: her son, Cedric Booker (daughter-in-law, Pamela Booker); two grandchildren, Fredric and Kerry; three sisters, Daisy P. McGinty (Roy McGinty, deceased) of Dallas, Texas, Mae Lula Polk (Albert Polk) of Cedar Hill, Texas, Janie B. Williams of Dallas, Texas; two brothers, Sylvester L. Booker (Renee Booker) of Garland, Texas, Roland K. Booker of Dallas, Texas, and a host of other relatives and friends.
