EASTON------Richard P. Bissett, 78, of Easton, died peacefully March 8, 2012 at Southeast Rehabilitation and Skilled Care Center in Easton after a period of failing health. He was the beloved husband of Judith G. (Roberts) Bissett for 52 years.
Born in Stoughton on February 21,1934, a son of the late William and Mary Evelyn (Atwater) Bissett, he moved to Easton at the age of 6, where he raised his family and has resided for the past 72 years.
Richard was employed as Vice President of the Community Bank before retiring and was able to enjoy many years of hunting and fishing with family and friends.
In addition to to his wife Judith, he was the loving father of Nancy Hamilton of of Easton and Stephen Bissett of San Mateo, CA; a loving sister, Rachael Nelson of NJ; and three grandchildren, James, Nicholas, and Tyler. He was predeceased by two sisters and two brothers.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral on Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. in Kane Funeral Home & Cremation Services 605 Washington Street (Rte.138) Easton.
