Dennis J. Clark, 69, of the 1100 block of Geranium Crescent, Virginia Beach, VA, passed away on March 24, 2012. Dennis was a devoted father and grandfather, who enjoyed life fully. He served in both the U.S. Coast Guard and U.S. Air Force. He was a retired logistician with a bachelor's degree from Tampa College and a member of MENSA. Dennis was an active parishioner of Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Virginia Beach and a passionate Red Sox fan. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Alice Clark; a son, Joseph Clark; daughter, Sandra Clark; two grandchildren, Kate and Madison Clark; two brothers, Charles and Jay Clark; a sister, Sandra Whiston; and numerous nieces and nephews. A funeral mass will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Thursday at Holy Spirit Catholic Church with Fr. Tim Kuhneman officiating. Burial will follow in Colonial Grove Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 6 to 9 p.m. at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Holy Spirit Catholic Church. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.hollomon-brown.com.
