KennethDaleKlompstra age 57 of Newaygo formerly of Grand Rapids passed away unexpectedly Saturday April 7, 2012. Surviving are his mother Carol Klompstra, three children: Melissa (Kevin) Brown, Kristen (Win) Boon, Michael Klompstra, grandson Julian Brown, three sisters: Mary Ellen (Dennis) VanHeck, Kathleen (Robert) Powers, Irene (Theodore) Command, two brothers, John Klompstra and Charles (Rebecca) Klompstra, many nieces and nephews, several aunts and uncles, dear friends, Kim Howard, Ray and Nancy Dewey and many other friends including those at the Woodruff Association. Ken loved the outdoors in particular boating on the Hardy Pond and "throwing bags". A Mass of Christian Burial and Committal service will be Thursday 10 am at SS Peter and Paul Church. The family will receive Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the Arsulowicz Brothers West Mortuary, 585 Stocking NW and at the church one hour prior to the Mass. Memorial contributions to the American Heart Association will be appreciated.
