George C. King, age 72, of 3046 Memorial Drive, Two Rivers, died Wednesday, May 2, 2012, at his residence.
George was born on June 4, 1939, in Sheboygan, son of the late Raymond and Cecilia (Poisson) King. After graduating from college, George worked in the paper industry until his retirement. He was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Parish. He was a long-time member of Toastmasters and the NRA.
Survivors include three children: Kathy (Jim) Jinkerson, Wisconsin Rapids; Sandy King, Tacoma, WA; and George A. (Kim) King, Grafton; seven grandchildren; Shannon (Tim) Stueck, Auburndale, WI; Joey Britz, Appleton; Holly Jagodzinski and her fiancé Jason Thomas, Wisconsin Rapids; Daniel (Julie) Jagodzinski, Wisconsin Rapids; Kristof Litke, Tacoma, Wa; Jackson and Braedyn King, Grafton; five great grandchildren: TeeJay, David, Bryan, Sylvia, and Jeren; one brother and sister-in-law: Robert (Kaye) King, Sheboygan. Other relatives and friends also survive.
He was preceded in death by: his parents and one daughter: Pamela King.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 8, 2012, at St. Francis of Assisi-Waldo Site, North 14th Street and Waldo Boulevard, Manitowoc. Rev. Dan Felton will celebrate the Mass of Christian Burial. Relatives and friends may call at church on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Mass at 11:00 a.m. The Jens Family Funeral Home and Crematory is assisting the King family.
