Jim, and Rosalie, and Family...we are so sorry to hear the news.
Bill was always such a gentleman. We know the difficulities he experienced recently, and althought modest in stature, he was a giant in personality and grace and style. We have such great memories of our visits with him, and especially the "cheers" we shared over lunch at "Bobby's"! We always went to Bobby's!!!

My father had a special light that touched so many people, I know it will continue to shine forever.

My father was my biggest hero and I have always wished to be more like him. My father was amazingly strong, cleverly funny, abundantly caring and warm. He had a capacity for seeing the positive and pointing out the good in everything. He loved me unconditionally.

My father was my biggest hero and I have always wished to be more like him. My father was amazingly strong, cleverly funny, abundantly caring and warm. He had a capacity for seeing the positive and pointing out the good in everything. He loved me unconditionally. He gave me my appreciation for nature and I learned about competition and sports from him. We shared opinions in politics and I learned history from him. Most importantly, he gave me a sense of humor.
I have so many special memories. I remember when we would watch TV he would throw a pillow at me during the scary part and laugh to see me jump. He would make me ice cream sundaes in fancy glasses and we would cuddle on the couch and watch Red Skelton. We would go for walks and he would hold my hand and tell me the weeping willow was crying and make little whimpering noises. He would ride the roller coaster with me while Mother would go for a walk because she couldn’t stand to watch( and we would laugh). I got to know him best after Mother died, I will forever cherish that time we spent together . Once, we drove to South Carolina to see Lisa when Sam was a small baby and we spent the day sight seeing and shopping with the baby while Lisa was at work. I will always remember what he said to me right before they took him for a surgery he wasn’t expected to survive, “Joanie, you look tired. You need to get some sleep.” As they wheeled him away he gave us 2 hands with thumbs up.
I am sure he is looking down at us, giving the 2 thumbs up with a smile.
Daddy, your special qualities are life long gifts to me and because of that, no matter what, you will always will be with me.

We will miss our best friend and biggest supporter. No matter how uncomfortable you became, you would always ask, "how are you feeling Jimmie...Rosalie...? I worry about you".

You loved sports - your Seminoles and the Bucs. Weekends during football season will be lonely. There will be a void in our hearts forever. Love, Jim and Rosalie

We were very saddened to hear of the passing of Uncle Bill. Even though in past years, personal contact has been somewhat infrequent, family - and especially Uncle Bill - have always been in our thoughts and memories.
Leith, especially, has many fond memories of Uncle Bill, Aunt Myra (and her Mom and Pop), and all family members.
He also remembers the "ringing of the bells" on Christmas Eve. Perhaps that is why he continued the same tradition with his

He also remembers when his father, Jim, would call Uncle Bill and family - especially at Christmastime. There were many wonderful visits to Lewiston, NY, from Niagara Falls.

Uncle Bill had such a calming and reassuring voice that will always be fondly remembered.

Obviously Uncle Bill and Dad (Jim) had a very strong brotherly bond and it was great that they were able to spend some retired years together in Florida.

Missing them BOTH - Love and condolences to ALL.

P.S. We remember our trip to Florida when we stayed in the mobile home that Betty and Jim had purchased which had nothing in it. Myra and Bill were so nice and accommodating and we enjoyed the time spent with them. I can still picture Uncle Bill frequently riding his bicycle!!

Uncle Bill was truly a kind and gentle soul. I have fond memories of the sound of reindeer bells that he created before bedtime on Christmas Eve. Even as a child I admired the devotion, respect and consideration he showed for the love of his life and soul mate, my Aunt Myra. When they moved to Florida they lead the way for my parents and I know my mother appreciated her friendship with Bill even more after they both were

He and my Dad had deep bond that has kept the extended family close into the next generation. As an adult I loved being able to see Uncle Bill when we visited Florida. In his later years he was a great role model for keeping fit and enjoying life. His legacy of love will live on through his children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and even through his niece and her family. God bless you, Uncle Bill and Aunt Myra.
