Victoria "Vicky" Lee Lewis (Clark)
8/8/56 - 3/9/12
Born in Natrona Heights, Pennsylvania; grew up in Oklahoma Boro. PA.
Married and lived in Longwood, Florida with her husband Steve, sons Parker and Tyler.
Victoria passed away peacefully in her sleep March 9th after a long battle with breast cancer.
A graduate of the University of Pittsburgh School of Nursing, she began her professional career as an RN in ICU and later as nurse recruiter for Montefiore Hospital in Pittsburgh. Recruited by ORMC to be their nurse recruiter, she moved from Pittsburgh to Orlando. Her willingness to help others and her medical training were demonstrated in 1982 on a flight from California to Orlando, when a fellow passenger had a medical crisis that she responded to until the pilot was able to make an emergency landing, saving the passenger's life. Her outgoing personality drew her to medical sales with early optical lasers and contributed to her success with Sorin Biomedical selling open heart equipment throughout Florida leading to her Top Salesperson recognition in 1998.
Known and loved by her friends and family as generous and thoughtful, she rarely missed remembering each one's birthday or other special events. Victoria loved water sports, snow skiing and travel. Her kind and compassionate nature was evident in her love for people and animals. Her most rewarding titles were "Mom" to her two boys, Parker and Tyler, and "Princess Bride" to her husband, Steve.
As a nurse, she knew too well the challenges that a cancer diagnosis presented. She fought vigorously, with tenacity and grace to conquer cancer and be Mom to her boys. Ultimately it was the cumulative effects of all the cancer treatments to her body that wore her down.
Vicky, as she was known to those closest to her, was an amazing and vibrant woman. Loving, kind, intelligent, driven and never willing to compromise on what she believed in, she made a positive impact on every person's life that she touched. She lived more during the years prior to her illness than many live in a lifetime. Her life was a demonstration of how strong the human spirit truly is and she is an inspiration to those she leaves behind. She will live on in her sons, whom she loved so dearly.
Victoria was predeceased by her father, Myron E. Clark, Jr. of Vandergrift, PA. She is survived by her husband Steve, her two sons Parker and Tyler, stepchildren Cameron (Kate), Huntersville NC, and Marianne, Apex NC, her mother Linda (Leonard) Clark, Oklahoma Boro. PA , sisters Debbie Boyle(Kevin), Greensburgh PA, Laurie Moorhead(Larry), Bloomington CA, and Wendy Fello (Robert), Apollo PA, nieces Stacy Lloyd and Crissy Courtney, nephews Brandon Moorhead (Jane) and Brett Moorhead and great nephews Tyler Courtney, Logan and Van Moorhead.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider donations to the fight against breast cancer or local animal protection agencies.
There will be a memorial service at Baldwin-Fairchild Oaklawn Park Chapel located at 5000 County Road 46A, Sanford, FL 32771 on Thursday March 15 at 3pm.

I am writing this for Linda, Steven, Vicki's sons, and sister's.
I may not of met all of you, but you have been in my thoughts and prayers. Vicki fought a long and hard battle and I know it has been devastating for all of you to watch her suffer. Though she was too young to be taken, she no longer suffers and rests peacefully in God's arms. God bless you all and give you strength.
