What a great guy Steve was! I worked with him in Shock Trauma.
I've always admired his positive attitude, perseverance and work ethic.

What I remember most about him was his warm smile and genuine concern for the well being of others. I'm sure I'm not alone, but whenever he needed to lighten my mood, he would shake his (partially missing) index finger at me.

My sincere condolences to Steve's family. My Mom worked with Steve at LVHN. When she was injured and had to have multiple surgeries, Steve would always pick her up with his ambulance and transport her home. He did this out of the goodness of his heart and never charged her for the rides. Thank you for your compassion.

I am very sorry for your loss. I worked with Steve while he was an aid in the Shock Trauma Unit many years ago. I was so proud of him when he earned his BSN and then when he was so successful with his ambulance business. I have many fond memories of him as we worked night shift together. Steve was a great and compassionate guy I've known for about 8-9 yrs now beings he had a medical transport business and I worked in the ED where he would regularly transport patients out for us. It was always a pleasure talking to him and his demeanor showed in the care he gave his patients. Carry on Steve! Your work here is done,
