Since I've been in southern Arizona for over 30 years, I haven't had the privilege of keeping in touch with my wonderful family. I am so very sorry to hear of Joe's passing!! What a handsome man and from what I read on here, he was a loved person. I truly miss all the Voelker family!! May God bring comfort and strength to everyone during this time of sorrow. My heart and love are there with you all. Betty Evoy Perkins

I'm so glad we got to see Joe earlier this year when we visited Michigan. It was great to sit around the table and catch up with so many wonderful cousins. We Voelkers love our extended family, and it was a joy to know Joe. It will be a joy to see him again when we are all re-united with Christ. Best wishes and love to the entire Jolin clan. Love you guys!!!

I need to celebrate his life, as I knew it, not be

My dear Joe. I remember the fun we would have at the reunions or when we came to visit at Aunt Bea's. You were around my age, so we connected and we were both quiet back then so we sat and listened more than jumping into conversations. I'll never forget your smile and I'll always remember the great feeling of seeing you at my mom's (Aunt Betty's) 90th birthday party. You have left us here but you are enjoying the beauty of Heaven. We will meet again in Heaven. Love you Joe.
