Such a unique, beautiful, kind, caring, funny being. Utter shock and pain with her loss.

I will always remember Ellen as a warm person and a person of deep faith. She was a vibrant member of our Bible Study Group and an Extraordinary Minister of the Eucharist here at St. Francis of Assisi in Windsor, Vermont.
Condolences to her family and all those who were a part of her life.

This is very sad news. Ellen was a lovely, gracious, uplifting human being and we will miss her so much. She was especially kind to my mother-in-law, Helen, and we are forever grateful for the many rides to church and companionship that she generously provided. Our prayers are with all of you.

Was so surprised to hear of Ellen's passing. I will miss seeing her, on occasion at St. Francis of Assissi Church in Windsor, Vt. She was such a beautiful lady inside and out. My thoughts and prayers are with her family.

I was shocked to hear announcement of Ellen's passing in church today. She was an active participant at our St Francis' bible study group in Windsor, Vt. I enjoyed the occasional conversations and emails I shared with her.
My condolences to her husband, children and grandchildren.

My heart is with you. Ever the beautiful and kind lady from Reading, her spirit lives in our hearts. In my mind's eye, I can still see her and Jim sharing coffee and breakfast treat sitting on the stone wall in front of the Reading town hall. blessed be and God speed---

Jim, Aimee and Eric- I'm so sorry for your loss. Ellen was so good to me for many years when I leased her horses. She was the one who found me Bud- the greatest horse a kid could ask for, introduced me to drag hunts and hunter paces and was very generous when I watched Aimee.Sending prayers and love,Caroline (Zani) Lozeau

Ellen is unforgettable in my life. Yes her sense of integrity and faithful dignified way of life are formidable.

My most memorable time with Ellen was when she invited the neighborhood kids to have a ride on her first horse, STAR. I was the youngest, when I put my leg over the saddle my pants split on all 4 seems. I am sure everyone there remembers.

Ellen was God's Blessing to our broken world.
