I had Sr. Georgette as my first grade and second grade teacher in Our Lady Of Victories in Jersey City from 1956-58. She was the first school teacher I ever had, and she introduced me to school in a gentle and loving manner, no easy task with over 50 six year olds in one classroom with no aide. I have always had fond memories of her.

Sister Georgette was my first grade teacher. She gave love & care like no other teacher. I absolutely adored her. I still have a note that she gave to me when I left that school as a 4th grader. As an adult, I called to tell her so in the early 90's. She crosses my mind often and will always be in my heart. An angel here and now in heaven.

A life well lived, Sr. Georgette was. I had Sr. Georgette in both first grade (1956-57) and then again in third grade (1958-59) in Our Lady of Victories School (OLV) in Jersey City. My father and I and my seven siblings all attended OLV; not sure who else had the privilege of having her. I have such fond memories of her gentle, kind, and skilled manner in dealing with us all in classes that numbered 40-50 students before Catholic schools'

So sorry for your loss. What a good long life Sister Georgette enjoyed. So many cannot say the same. She was one of those the Bible call especially strong. Ps. 90:10

Aunt Lorraine was such a kind soul. She was always so sweet, genuine, and could always make you smile. She will be missed.
