I met Ben when we were freshmen in Cereus Hall. We went on to have several classes together. He was one of the most organized and gifted students I've ever known. He was great at explaining tough concepts, and never hesitated to help a classmate who needed it. My condolences to his family and loved ones.

Andrea and Allan, you were and are exemplary parents and we cannot begin to appreciate how difficult this day must be for you. You are in our thoughts and prayers.

Ben was a good friend to my son, kind, considerate and responsible. I know how much he enjoyed his time with him. Ben, I'm so blessed to have just known you. You were such a kind soul with nothing but great intentions and a future brighter than the sun. Your athleticism and intelligence were tremendously admirable. It is difficult to believe this could happen to you. I will keep your family in my prayers. Rest in Peace, Ben. I hope to meet again some day.
