My heartfelt condolences to the Murphy family and her extended family at the Brookline Police Dept. June and I attended the Brookline Police Academy together and became fast friends. I am sadden to hear of her passing.

I am shocked and saddened to just learn of June's sudden passing. I got to know June in my law classes while in the MPA program at Suffolk University in 2004-2006. I was proud to say I worked with her sister Susan at DCR. Our professors often defaulted to her law enforcement expertise for tricky questions that would have otherwise gone unanswered in class. Shocked and saddened to hear of the loss of June. She was the consummate professional and a real sweet person. As one of her former bosses; I never had to be concerned about her decision making. She remained "above the frey" Part of a long line of police professionals who will be sorely missed. My deepest sympathies to the Murphy Clan - Draw comfort from each other Chief Ned Merrick (ret) Plainville Police Dept. Brookline PD (1970-1994)

My sincere condolences to the Murphy family. June was a sweet girl and a wonderful class-mate to many of us in the Brookline school system. Her passing is way too soon. May she rest in peace.
