Sabrina, Dave service really touched me. You were so very brave to give your thoughts. The boys were very touching and so was Monica. When I lost my husband last year, I found that the days after the memorial were most difficult. You have your beautiful boys to be brave and carry on for and that will undoubtedly help you. I know Dave will be smiling down on you and will be with you in the days ahead. You will survive this and be happy again, my friend.
Much love to you, Rys, Holden and the family-

I was out of town and therefore unable to express my thoughts in person. There are never any words at a time like this beyond love and prayers for all. Dave's memory will live on through each of
you and especially his sons, never to be forgotten.

Dear Elizabeth, Richard, Sabrina, Rys, Holden, Monica, Aaron and family,
My heart goes out to you and your family. How bravely Dave fought - what a remarkable person, father, son, brother, uncle. May Dave be received into the arms of His mercy, into the blessed rest of everlasting peace, and into the glorious company of the saints in light. Amen. With deepest sympathy, Laureen, Mike, Annie and Melanie.

So sorry to hear of the loss of Dave. I admired his love for his family and his career, and his tenacious spirit. Sincere Sympathy extended.

So saddened to hear this news. I remember well when Dave joined me, my son, and many other cubscouts in my backyard. We roasted marshmallows and told stories and the whole bit. What a dad. What a friend to us fellow dads who were struggling enough the way it is, let alone battling cancer. But with grace and faith, Dave went right on. Over a couple cups of coffee over the years, he generously and courageously shared his story with me. Prayers that the Lord walk with you through the shadowy valley. I know that Dave's and our Redeemer lives.
