We cherish the many years of memories we have had with Mary. Our favorite is this: Our first granddaughter, Anna Barton Jensen, was born 32 years ago at Baptist Hospital. Mary was a volunteer way back then. When it was time for our granddaughter to leave the hospital, Mary Rogers pushed the wheelchair carrying our daughter Lisa Jensen and her new baby, Anna, to the car that would take them home.

What a wonderful lady! I met Mary when I worked at BHE many years ago. She was never without a smile or a kind word. When we started going to St. Matthews Baptist, I was thrilled to see her there. She and her husband played a big part in our decision to join St. Matthews. I loved talking to her. Mary will be missed by a lot of people, especially those at BHE and our church. I will miss seeing and talking with her. My deepest sympathy goes to the family. Such wonderful memories to cherish her by.
