I met Chuck at Peace Corps training, and later when he and Marta settled in same town as I did after P.C. service ended. Will remember his kind manner and wicked intelligence, especially with the Spanish language. And how he always beat me in cards and croquet! Amy, I like to imagine my 70 y/o brother Bill (who passed last October) and your brother competing in cards and checkers up in heaven.

Amy, Mike, Pete, and David: Sending my condolences from St. Louis. I remember Chuck teaching me to play Wff ' Proof at your Bancroft place. I think Chuck was 14 or 15. I have fond memories of him and all of you at many family gatherings. Wishing you--and your extended families--peace and comfort now and in the days ahead.
