Susan was a student in my class during her master's degree in civil engineering at UTA. She was a dedicated student and engineer, a wonderful example of a UTA civil engineering graduate, and a wonderful person to know.

I am saddened to hear of Susan's passing. We lost touch years ago. I have many great memories of Susan.
We played soccer, softball and camped. Susan always had a book in tow, studying. I cannot remember Susan's grandmothers name......but we did visit her frequently and sneak her treats. Rest easy friend. My favorite song to sing WITH you was : John Anderson .. Swingin.

In angel came the other day and took Susan away. As the angel took her hand she said "Would you like to go back?" I'm pretty sure Susan turned to look and said no not to that.

Then the angel said "Very well then your book of life has been written. Come with me for I have many for you to see."
