He taught me how to handle my cancer with dignity and with out self pity . To enjoy every minute because we are only here for a moment. I hope to celebrate a year clear in about six months. The categories for relationship is too limited . He was my friend and mentor and a guide along a pathway I was to walk. So, I cut his hair and he liked it sharp. We taught each other things we didnt

So sorry to hear that Mr. Partlow passed. He always had a positive outlook on life. He was my latin teacher for 4 years at Lansing Catholic Central. He was a good soul. My condolences to his family.

Mr. Partlow was as good a Latin teacher as there ever was. He taught me Latin 1 and 2 between 1998 and 2000. I will not forget his formidable and laudable pedagogy. This past fall, I started teaching high school Latin myself, and thus Mr. Partlow has often been on my mind. My sincerest condolences to his wife (also one of my teachers) and his family.

Requiem aeternam dona ei, Domine, et lux perpetua luceat ei. Requiescat in pace.

Ask anyone who went to LCC who their favorite teacher was, and you will always hear Mr. Partlow's name. As a religion teacher to a bunch of teenagers, he not only listened to us but challenged us in our faith. He had a gift of wisdom and understanding when it came to teaching. I have found myself quoting Mr. Partlow many times over the years and often a fellow LCC grad would say that they too remembered his wise advice. Mr. Partlow's legacy will live on in all of his students.

Today I was informed my High School Religion teacher passed away. "Passed away?" I thought, more like "passed on."
He passed on an adult faith and spiritual freedom that would serve me beyond high school.
He passed on analytical thinking skills that would serve me in law school.
He passed on the authority to question authority and seek truth.
He passed on intellectual integrity. He did not tell us what to think. He did not insist on blind faith or our adherence
