Don was a thoughtful, kind and dependable man. As one of his long-time customers, I appreciate what he did for me and he will be missed. God Bless him and his family.

We are so sorry for your loss, Theresa, Rachel and Julia. The service was beautiful and was a testament of how loved and popular Don was. We are so remiss for not having the chance to know him better. So happy to know he was a true Washington Redskin fan!

Sorry to hear this sad news Donnie will be missed

Dear Theresa and family, I'm so saddened to hear of Donnie's passing, he was so knowledgeable in sports statistics, loved his Redskins and Nationals, and always spoke of his Richmond days. He was his own boss, something he cherished greatly! Donnie Baseball will always be remembered and missed. Peace to you and the family.

Don was a kind and generous neighbor. He was always there when someone needed help. We remember how he fired up his grill during a lengthy power outage for an impromptu cookout in the cul de sac. We had some fun neighborhood parties. We will miss him greatly.

Don and I attended many of the Nationals
baseball games together-he added plenty
of joy and excitement to the game(whether our team won or lost). I will
miss a great neighbor and a special friend.
