I worked for DM as one of the lifeguards at the Midland Club where he was the manager back in the 60's. He was a great guy and a great boss. He and my brother Mike were good friends and card playing buddies. We have thought and talked about him many times over the years. I am very sorry to hear of DM's passing. God Bless DM and his family....we are thinking of him.

DM was a good friend to me. A few memories that will always stay w me are the times of playing and singing gospel music, being clogging partners for a short period of time, listening to him recite many poems, his Texas accent. He was truly a caring gentleman. He had many friends from all walks of life. He will be missed by many.
