David Lee Pangburn Obituary

David Lee Pangburn 82, passed away Wednesday November 17,2021 at his home. He was born December 5,1938 in Indianapolis Indiana to Dewey Pangburn and Elizabeth Cahan Pangburn. He was a driver for the Greyhound Bus Company for 27 years retiring in 1992. he enjoyed the game of golf playing at many Indianapolis Golf courses and the same for bowling which he did in several Bowling Alleys in the city. He will be missed by his many friends and family members. He is survived by his wife Ida Louise Simkins Pangburn who he married in 1977, a daughter Cheron Stapp husband David, daughter Janel Mattingly husband Tim, stepdaughter Shannon Johnson, stepson Kirk Hoyt and sister Joann Busald. He is survived by grandchildren Jordan (Tyler) Eltzroth, Megan (Andrew) Stapp, Nathan (Brandee) Stapp, Katelyn (Clayton) Long, Abriana (Eric) Stapp, Ethan Stapp, Bryson Stapp, Danielle Mattingly, Kayce (Cody) Derado, Amber Overley, Kassie Oskins and Jesika Johnson and great grandchildren Alexis, Braden, Danni, Gwendolyn, Cooper and Evelynn. David was preceded in death by his parents and daughter Pepper Collins, son Brian Pangburn, grandchildren Jamie Stapp, Rhiannon Collins, D.J. Collins and Taylor Collins, great granddaughter Charlotte Stapp. Visitation will be Saturday November 20,2021 from 1 PM to 4 PM at Hendryx Mortuary Cumberland Chapel with funeral services at 4 PM.
