Kendra...today would have been your 25th birthday. I can't believe how quickly the time has passed. I want you to know that I love you and miss you more than words can express. You were here for a short time but now you are gone. I know that you are in God's hands and His mercy through His Son, Jesus Christ. My hope is in Him, who has been through the valley of the shadow of death but has overcome! You are now our "hidden tiger". Rest, baby girl....

As we approach three years since Kendra died, I can't help but still feel like she's on a really long trip. I catch myself wondering when she'll return home. And, then I have to accept all over again that she's not here. Is that really true?
