As we approach three years since Kendra died, I can't help but still feel like she's on a really long trip. I catch myself wondering when she'll return home. And, then I have to accept all over again that she's not here. Is that really true? I'm forced to go to God & lay it at His feet, knowing that it was His time for her to come to her eternal home with Him. Oh God, we thank you for

In 1987 life changed in such a positive way! My little sister Kendra was born! She was my early birthday present! Kendra was so full of life, so positive and carefree! She loved and cared for so many people! She never held grudges and was not judgemental. She excepted others for who they were. Kendra was a great friend and sister! ~ For 21 years we shared and celebrated our birthdays' together :) I grieve over losing her, but I

Kendra would stop by Salvation Army to say hi or help out. I got to spend time with her and witnessed her compassionate heart. We talked about a lot of things. She even went with me to my senior citizen group and helped with the games there. The last time I saw her was a couple of days before her accident. She stopped by the office and visited with me and Captain Jody. As she got ready to leave she

Kendra was my best friend. I had the privilage of knowing Kendra Locke and spending many, many times with each other. My road, as well as everyone else who had known her, was rough when I had heard of the news. God has us endure pain and I don't know why. What I do know is that Jesus Christ has endure much more than we have. He made a promise to walk with and sometimes carry us through all the

Just remembering Kendra today. Life moves on but the emptiness in your heart never goes away. Praise God for His mercy, love and grace! He helps us through the rough times with the hope that the grave is not the end. We can have eternal life through His Son, Jesus Christ!

Kendra was not only my little sister, but she was my buddy and bestfriend. She will always be remembered and missed! The life that she lived has left a lasting impression in mine. I watched her grow from the form of a newborn baby, a vibrant little girl and then into a beautiful young woman. We spent many moments of laughing, talking and acting silly. There was never a dull moment whenever we were together!

I Love You Kendra!

Your Big Sis,
