Roger Garrison 12/6/07 For me it began a little more than 50 years ago, All that you have done for me, I doubt I'll ever know. You were there through the good times and the bad I don't know what to do except whisper, “Thank You, Dad. Every year on camping trips we would go, To gather wood and build a fire to us you did show. By car, trailer and then by motor home, The beautiful Wild West we

Roger Garrison wrote on 12/23/2007: Rhonda sent me a poem which someone gave her the Christmas Uncle Dub died. Rhonda thanks so much for the thoughts and prayers. It means alot. MY FIRST CHRISTMAS IN HEAVEN I see the countless Christmas trees around the world below With tiny lights, like heaven’s stars, reflecting on the snow. The sight is so spectacular, please wipe away that tear, For I am spending Christmas with Jesus Christ this year. I hear the many

Roger Garrison wrote on 9/8/2007: This is just a note of thanks to the staff at Sanders Funeral Home for the time and care that they put in to making the video tribute for Dad. I watched it again today (in remembrance of 6 months) and cried at almost every picture. They are certainly a life time of memories and stories behind every picture in that video. I miss you Dad, and I am grateful for the chance to view

Roger Dale wrote on 7/9/2007: Hey Dad, you would have been 70 years old today. Happy Birthday! I went to the Garrison Family Reunion over the weekend. We all had a great time. Since I was going to Altus I decided to visit some of the places where your parents lived. I visited the swimming hole in Tishomingo, the high school in Coleman, (also saw the monument to the first baseball team), the cemetary in Enterprise, Bromide, Reagan, Ten Acre

ROGER DALE One thing I remember well was a trip that we took with Uncle Charlie, Aunt Leta Mae and the boys. Roger Dale wrote on 6/19/2007: Fathers's Day has come and gone and boy was it hard. No one to call and say "Happy Father's Day!" to. David and I spent about half an hour reminicing about Dad -the good times we had, the places he took us and the things he did for us. It was sweet to put the cares aside and to just think and talk about Dad. As the "Tenors" sang "I'm going to miss him, the old man". Love you Dad--HAPPY FATHER'S DAY!!!

Susan Rai wrote on 4/2/2007: To "Roger & Linda Garrison", (Son & daughter-in-law of Charlie Garrison), You have been such an inspiration to my life, emotionally, mentally and above all spiritually. I know you treated me with such kindness and helped me tremendously in life by helping me direct my life concerns through God's leading. Without God, none of us would've reached Life's goals and dreams. I know that if it wasn't for your wonderful, kind-hearted dad "Charlie" who was

Roger Garrison wrote on 4/2/2007: The following story was told by Sharon and was posted on the Garrison Family web sight about 2 weeks before Dad died. It was forwarded by Carmen to me. Hi Roger, I don't know if you saw this posting from Sharon but I thought you would really appreciate it. You have probably heard this before but I sure got a chuckle out of it.
