I've been reading Art Buchwald ever since I learned how to read! I followed with pleasure the story of how he went to a hospice intending not to come out, then wound up leaving it alive when he realized he wasn't done living yet. He lived a long and fascinating life, and will be much missed.

I fondly remember him when Erma Bombeck was active. Their exchanges were so funny. Erma was my celebrity, so that's when I came to appriciate his sense of humor. May he rest in peace. Gwen, Port Orange, Fl.
