Bill grew up here in Camden S.C. with the rest of his family. He was a quiet and thoughtful man. He did not put on any airs down here where most remember him. He visited
our church twice a year and was unassuming.
He liked to meet and greet old friends. His brother Reid still lives with us down here in Camden. We all miss Bill very much.

We Still miss you you Bill. i had the honor of meeting him as an undergrad at Fordham. Moving to Stamford I occasionally saw him on the train as well.

He is the Father of the Conservative movement.
