I never heard of Randy until I viewed the "Last "Lecture". What a shame that such an brilliant, kind, beautiful person and much loved husband and father had to be taken away so soon. I have shed many tears for Randy and his family and keep asking God, why? My thoughts and prayers are with Randy's wife and three children.

Thank you to Randy and his family for sharing their experience with this disease. It peaked my interest because I work in educational technology and my dad had pancreatic in 2005. He lived every moment until his last. Unfortunately pancreatic cancer is a doozie and there is nothing you can do but make the best of it. Ironically my mom has cancer now and will be leaving soon. I am with her now. I listened to Randy's time management video over and over when she was diagnosed in January. Since then we've had fun, laughed everyday and made the best of it. We are not immortal - death happens to us all. Randy's generosity in sharing his personal story has helped us. Thank you

I was deeply moved by his book, in such a way that it makes me want to live more fully. We all need to keep in mind what is important in life, and that is precious time with loved ones. My sympathies to his beautiful family, may time and happy memories heal you.

There are no words to describe the way Randy Pausch touched my life, and the lives of many others around the world. Though many of us never knew him personally, watching "The Last Lecture" and reading his book gave all of us a new meaning on life. It was a priveledge to get to hear the wisdom of Randy Pausch. My heart is heavy right now for his beautiful and amazing wife, Jai, and his three beautiful children, Dylan, Logan, and Chloe. May the Lord watch over them in the days to come, and may Jai find the incredible strength to go through this world as a Tigger. Jai, please know that you have strangers praying daily for you and your family. You are not alone in this.

I DID NOT KNOW DR. PAUSCH, HOWEVER, I FELT A KINSHIP TO HIM, AFTER I HEARD THE LAST LECTURE. MY GRANDFATHER DIED OF PANCREATIC CANCER, AT THE AGE OF 47,IN 1937, WHEN MY MOTHER WAS A TEENAGER. MY HEART GOES OUT TO HIS MOTHER,SISTER,WIFE AND CHILDREN. HOW FORTUNATE YOU ARE HOWEVER,TO HAVE HAD THIS PERSON IN YOUR LIFE. DR. PAUSCH HAS BROUGHT PANCREATIC CANCER INTO THE SPOTLIGHT,A LONG  OVERDUE AND MUCH NEEDED EVENT. MY MOTHER SAID THAT WHEN HER FATHER DIED,THE MEDICAL COMMUNITY WAS PREDICTING THAT A CURE WAS JUST AROUND THE CORNER. IT'S HEARTBREAKING TO REALIZE HOW LITTLE PROGRESS HAS BEEN MADE TO THAT END IN THE LAST 71 YEARS.

I hope I can become a tigger. The lecture has been with me from the time I viewed it and I hope it stays with me. I wish I had the chance to meet you. May God watch over you and your beautiful family.

You shared the most profound gift of love for your children that will carry on with them throughout their lifetime, as if you are still right there. In so doing you touched the very heart of humanness for millions of people giving us inspiration and insight, a new hope and renewed faith in mankind. There is no doubt you are an Angel of God. The message He sent you to deliver you delivered well. How proud He must be. I think you're the HERO that the world has been lacking.

What a life, and what a huge loss to humanity. His kids have a wonderful legacy with his blog, speeches, and books. May they know how deeply they were treasured.

What a gift this human being was to us all... How one could face his own mortality with such honesty, bravery and grace; and moreover, derive from it a lesson so great it takes most of us a lifetime to learn, if ever. This is a truly beautiful soul who is not gone, but merely moving on to the next stage of existence. My heart aches for the loss Randy's family endures, but also knows there are countless intangible ways his spirit lives on within them and all of us. God's blessings.
