GOD PUTS ALL OF US HERE FOR A REASON AND HIS WAS TO BRIGHTEN AND INFORM ALL OF THE LIVES HE TOUCHED THROUGH HIS BOOK AND LECTURES. TO HIS FAMILY, I SALUTE YOU FOR YOUR LETTING US SHARE HIM TOO AND FOR BOTH OF YOUR BRAVERY.

I remember when You Tube first released "The Last Lecture" of Professor Pausch. My life has been greatly impacted by his words and wisdom and made me realize how fragile life is and how much we waste time on trivial things in life. We take so much for granted. Because of Randy, I hug my husband a little tighter now and my 2 daughters know just how much they mean to me. I loved to book so much that I put a link to in on MySpace for my friends to view. Although I never met Randy, I know that he left a lasting legacy for his children, his wife and for the rest of us who have been touched by his life. My prayers go out to his family at this time of grief.

After ready his book I bought a little Tigger figure to remind us to be tiggers. My husband was being an eyore and my daught held up the tigger and said"daddy you need to be a tigger". Randy taught us all that even when life gives you set backs you need to always remember we are Tiggers and to keep going and not to give up. I never met him but his wife and children should be so very proud of how their husband/Dad touched so many lives.

As I write this, I am thinking of this man, which I never met, but touched my life ! He was a TRUE inspiration. The world was a better place with him in it! I choose to be a TIGGER, and try to see things the way he did it. And to always TELL THE TRUTH!! What a great lesson he set for all of us! My thoughts and prayers are with his family & friends! Heaven has a SPECIAL Angel! Thanks so much for sharing him with us!

To Jai, Logan, Dylan, and Chloe; "Perhaps they are not the stars, but rather openings in Heaven where the love of our lost ones pours through and shines down upon us to let us know they are happy." Eskimo proverb Your precious husband and father is not lost...he lives forever in all the love you share and in the transformed lives of countless others whom he touched.

I didn't know Randy Pausch personally, but his inspirational message has touched me deeply. I have been battling leukemia for three years (status-post two bone marrow transplants) and the prognosis is guarded, at best. Randy's message of hope and love has made is legacy an enduring lesson to all of us, and especially me. He defined what's important in living our lives. His "teaching" approach was direct but filled with with kindness, truth, and spirit for life. I feel he made a difference in everyone's lives. I hope I can "live" my life as fully and completely as he did. May God bless his family and friends during this difficult time.

He was such an inspirational person that has touched so many people. He has helped all of us who have seen his last lecture or read his book to have a new perspective on life and what is truly important. His message will live on for several years through the many people whose lives he has touched.
