I'm just talkin' about Shaft!...When Issac Hayes released that groundbreaking album everyone took note of him and the trail he was blazing...finally, soul men could produce film scores...And yes, Issac Hayes was the quinessential soul poet...An innovator and a wonderful soul...He will be missed by us all...Issac Hayes you are beloved and beloved!

what a man i was a very young boy when iwas wrapped in a brown leather coat snucked in to see my very first motion picture downtown chicago shaft. music from the soundtrack composed and performed by isaac hayes. his music will always be with me my being and my very very hot butter soul i will never forget him.

we as Gods childres will never know why we all die and be born again, all we know is ashes to ashes and dust to dust, which is a true statement. I can take myself way back in the day when i was rasisning my boys and i would go to sleep by I stand acused by Isaac Hayes, i just loved his voice of music, and i will think that he is on a long vacation that i know i will meet up with him when my time comes. my heart goes out to the family of Hayes and please don't cry you will see him one day. he did all of the things that he was to do by God and all of us got to do what we wanted to do with him, and that's what life is about doing all that you can do,so once you are in heaven you can relax.

Well, as ayoung lady back-in-the-day I listened to that magnificent voice. You did great things for music and a lot of peoples hearts. You will be truly missed. I still have a lot of your albums. So this will be my solace.
