I was 5 years younger than Farrah but watched all her movies and her first year on charlies angels and i have a son 25 years old a year older than Redmond and am having trouble with him and his alcholism, and his minimum wage jobs and still living at home, sometimes life works out good sometimes it don't, we can't read our destiny's, unformtuniately, but we all suffer in one way or another while here on earth, make everyday your own day and live for yourself that's all you can do, OH and love God, Good Bye Farrah RIP, condolences, Margie Sharon (Myers) Gunby

Farrah was a wonderful artist in many areas. Much of this country grew up with her in one way or another. She is an angel now and she will never be forgotten. We thank her for sharing her story with us and bringing more awareness to the cancer she had. May there be a cure one day due to her work in bringing awareness more to light. An Angel on earth and in Heaven now....

Farrah, what a beautiful and courageous woman you are and always will be. When Charlies Angels was on TV, I was happily mistaken for you. Children wanted my autograph. What a compliment and blessing it was for me to be mistaken for you even later in life. You are also a fellow Texas woman as I am....I wish you peace forever in Heaven and may you dip your wings into that rain water you spoke about in your story. Goodbye my dear lady...RIP

Farrah left us with dignity and left an indelible mark on those who admired her beauty and courage. She displayed bravery throughout her long fight with this dreaded disease. Her death was overshadowed by the death of another great person, which was unfair because she deserved the same respect. She is now with real angels and is no longer suffering. God bless her beautiful spirit. She is missed.

What a brave, courageous, lovely lady. She was even more beautiful at the time of her death. Except for my late mother, the most beautiful woman I had ever seen. My mom was a tremendous fan and I'm sure she welcomed Farrah with open arms..In junior high, I'm sure my grades suffered because of my obsession with being an "angel"..May God bless Farrah's Father, Ryan, Redmond, alana and the rest of her friends and family...she is now with the real angels..

Growing up as a child in LA county was an exciting time in my life. When Charlies Angels came out, it was even better. Farrah was the one I wanted to be. Even though I and African American, I thought I was her. Nice shape, blonde & FEATHERED HAIR is what I wanted. Wanted to be just like her. She will be dearly missed. Now she IS that Angel, Gods angel now. XOXO

Just knowing you were in this world with me some how made it more bearable. Even though I never got to meet you, I felt like I knew you! I supposed its because you made me happy and feel good when I watched all your shows and you on the talk shows. I just want to say "Thank You" for sharing your gift. One of many I'am sure. However, I certainly enjoyed all of your performances and I will never forget you, ever. My heart cries for your family and friends. My thoughts and prayers are with them and with you. Goodbye dear.

I loved Farrah in Charlie's Angel and I always thought she and Lee majors were great for each other. I guess stardom did take a toll on their marraige. It was sad they had to break up in 82. However I'm glad they found peace months before her death (on her 62nd Birthday) RIP Farrah...you always be an angel and remebered.

I wish I knew her on a personal level because I feel her pain, I've suffered her fear, and admired her strength and the will to keep fighting! She is an incredible pillar of strength, hope and love! This Woman Name Farrah, truely one of Gods examples of a hard life lession. My condolences to the family and friends of Miss Farrah Fawcett. Your great courage to fight for your life has been an inspiration. My mother lost her battle with brain cancer in January 2009, and as you were, she was a fighter, too. I watched Charlie's Angels in the 1970s. It was my favorite show, and the memory was part of my childhood. I've been your fan since then. Thank you for the great smile you brought to the world.

Even though my family never met Farrah, we felt as though we knew her through her Charlie's Angels and other appearances. Her courage during her battle with cancer was extroadinary and even though Farrah's Story was sad to watch it does truly show how horrible cancer is and how important it is to find a cure. Even though a celebrity, she seemed just like everyone else and just a very sweet caring person. So sorry for your loss and our prayers our with you. She is definately an angel in heaven. I don't think that I ever missed an episode of Charlie's Angels. I loved that show, I loved Farah. I wore the Farah Fawcett hairstyle for years while in my late teens and twenties. I loved her. I admire the strength and courage that she had during the cancer treatments. I mostly admire her strong will to live even though it was against all odds. What an amazing, beatiful woman. RIP Farah - You won't ever be forgotten. God Bless You

Farrah was a big influence on me in the 70's and 80's. We all wanted to BE her. We wore her hairstyle, we used her shampoo. From Charlie's Angels she became a fine actress through the years. Now we as women can only hope we can have her courage. She fought so hard to stay here, but God has called her home. Rest in Peace beautiful Farrah - we love you and we'll miss you. Deepest condolences to Ryan, Redmond and all her family and friends. God Bless.

My deepest sympathies to Farrah's family. She provided so many joys to those of us who watched her on Charlie's Angels along with some wonderful performances in movies like The Burning Bed and Small Sacrifices where she had the chance to show her tremendous acting skills. She was never afraid to take a risk and I really think that is what made her so real to those of us who were only able to get to know her as an actress. Her contributions to the world of entertainment will long be remembered.

You showed grace and caring in some of the scariest, dark days any person should never have to endure. I learn from you again, to be graceful and calm no matter what comes next in my life. God decided he needed a "Special Angel" to be with him in heaven. Farrah was a wonderful and cool lady! I never met her, but you could tell she was "not" conceited or cocky like so many beautiful people can be. She loved life, her family and gave back to the world through dedicated charity work and support for others around her. In the end through determined courage and strength, she "educated" the world and brought a "new and powerful notice" to the horrible Cancer disease that so many people do and do not know about. A major accomplishment for one to do! She did love the men in her life; her Ryan, her Red and her Dad. And it showed. And her friends all adored her and she adored them. She will be missed but NEVER, EVER forgotten by the millions who loved her....... God Speed to you; Sweet, Courageous, Loving and Cool "FarrahAngel"!

She deserves more than a candle lit for her. She deserves all of the all of the stars in heaven to be lit for her. I grew up watching Farrah and how all of us girls had to have the Farrah hair. We all wanted to be her. Now I still want to be like her, a fighter till the end.

Her fight until the end was inspiring. I wish that the US would allow more experimental medicines. When you get a death sentence, what difference does it make at that time. We should be able to do what we want to our bodies. Farrah had money to fly to Germany to give her some extra time. Most of us would not be able to do that. That was the point of her gut-wrenching movie. A diva she was not.

I have always loved Farrah - in High School, I had her haircut and used her shampoo. My brother had her poster in his room. I loved the fact that even though she had beauty beyond compare, that she seemed nice enough to be your friend! I was deeply touched by her cancer struggle and also lost an Aunt to cancer 2 days before her. I'm not sure why God allowed her to suffer so much, but I know that her death will not be in vain. Her strength in facing her cancer Giant will forever live on and will help others who face similar circumstances. May her lovely soul now rest in the arms of God.

First saw you in Man of the House and had a huge crush from the start. I never realized one could keep her beauty so long. I've never seen someone with a smile quite like yours that could just put you in a good mood out of nowhere. What set you apart was you never let it get to your head and were as classy as it gets. While I wasn't able to enjoy Charlie's Angels in the 70's I admire your bravery in the face of cancer and your defiance and have the utmost respect for a true American icon. Somewhere, in a realm we cannot even imagine, a beautiful spirit has arrived. Now released from the bonds of earthly life, with all its pains, sorrows, injustices, and hardships, she goes on to the next stage in her eternal quest. Farrah . . . lovely name. I read it means "joy" in Arabic. Which is precisely what you brought into so many lives, in so many ways. I never met you, Farrah; all I knew about you was what I garnered through the media. However, that was enough to make me stand in awe of you. We love some celebrities for what they do, some for who they are, some for what they stand for. I love Farrah for all the above. Her accomplishments as an actress and the iconic beauty of her time need no recounting here. Rather, let me recall her courage, determination, and character in her final battle. She could have withdrawn into self-pity and depression. Instead she summoned her spirit and resolve to fight the demon that was consuming her. She could have dropped out of sight. Instead she carried on in the full glare of the modern media, recording and disseminating every detail of her struggle. And she did so not for attention, but rather to give hope and inspiration to others fighting for their lives. In the end, the demon won the battle. But her spirit won the war. We will miss you, Farrah, but we'll never forget you. In our hearts, you'll live on. You gave so much of yourself here on Earth. Now you're needed elsewhere.

I was one of the thousands of women that had to have the Farrah hair cut. I saw Farrah's Story for the 3rd time last night and cried for her stuggles, her son, Ryanand the rest of her family and friends. She was truly an ICON. I lost my 3 year old granddaughter Amelia Rose Jones to a rare cancer. A cancer that normally strikes older men a glioblastom multiforme 4 tumor. Senator Kennedy, I believe has the same tumor. In Amelia case, it olny took 43 days to claim her life (that includes her surger in another state). After 5 years, the pain of her not being here is still as intense as the day she left us. I see my Amelia walking hand in hand with Farrah, 2 of the most beautiful blondes to ever grace us with having known them. It's been a sad week, first with the loss of Ed McMahon, then our Farrah then Michael Jackson. With thoughts and prayers, Molly Bazan Amelia's Mammaw

I so admire the way you took care of her, watched over her and loved her. Allana - what a wonderful friend you are to her. I know that friends are family you choose for yourself. I admire the love between you. Redmond - You were her pride and joy. There is a lot of love in your family. Stay close to that love. I pray for all of you that you have peace during this very difficult time.

I pray for Ryan O'Neil and his Son, Redmond, that you both find peace in your hearts, over the loss of your Mother, Farah, and Wife, friend, and Soul mate. Farah has left her journey here on earth, and now gone to Heaven where she does not need to suffer pain anymore. My condolences go out to you, your son, and the rest of the family...May God be with you all, through this time of sorrow. Farah was a great inspirational woman to us all..and yes she battled anal cancer for a very long time,,,but now she is at peace.

My deepest sympathy goes out to the family and friends of Farrah Fawcett. As a woman who lost her husband to cancer, I applaud her bravery at exposing the reality of Cancer, treatment, waiting for test results and the effects of all the people who love you. Farrah is at peace and with the Lord in a much more glorious place then where we are. She is no longer in pain or suffering. The suffering and mourning now comes for the people who are left. May God give you the strength to find peace in knowing she rests. May her memory be eternal.

I remember never wanting to miss an episode of Charlie's Angels. It was my favorite show. I think i was in Jr. High at the time. Farrah was my favorite Angel, i had to have the hair cut, of course. And it didn't look as good on me as it did her, but i tried. I remember snatching up every magazine with her on it, or in it. And a local Shopping Mall holding a Farrah look a-like contest. Contestants had to match her famous poster and wear a red bathing suit. Man, all the women with the "Farrah hair"!! It was amazing. I followed her career in later years with all the movies she made. Something about her. She was a way better actress than the critics gave her credit for. I was saddened to hear of her passing. You know it's coming, but yet you are still shocked and sad. I am glad she is in a better place now and out of pain. How terrible that she had to suffer. My thoughts and prayers go out to her friends and family, esp. her father and son. May you rest in peace Farrah! God is with you and you are among the angels. I will miss you, you were a true Angel.

I enjoyed watching Farrah in Charlie's Angels, she was excellent and also she portrayed the character well in the lifetime movies that she acted in and my daughter and I always watched when we knew that one of the movies were on because we truly enjoyed watching her, she always brought a smile to my daughters face when she seen her even in a commercial, advertising the movie, she would always remind the program so that we would be sure and not miss the show. And she will truly be missed by everyone that knew her a well and it is a blessing to know that she is no longer suffering from her terrible illness, and it is a real blessing to know that she is in HEAVEN! with our LORD and SAVIOUR and she is looking down on her family always with a smile. And to her family I want you to know that I am praying for you to have the strength to make it through each day and to let you know how sorry we are for your loss. and to say that it will get easier to cope with the daily chores and duties that will continue to be there. I just lost my father two years ago and when I get down I just stop and pray and asked God to give me the strength to keep going and for what its worth he always comes through for both me and my daughter and he always works things out for us and reminds us that he is always there for us if we just take the time to ask for his help in making it through whatever it is that we need a little help with and he will certainly make you stronger if you have the faith in him. Warm Regards The Austin Family.

God has another angel to watch over us. There will never be another Farrah. Her smile, her wit, her acting abilitites have touched all of us. One of the first posters my young son ever wanted was Farrah. Her smile was contagious whenever you walked in his room and saw it. Thank you for sharing you life with us. We love you. To anyone that doubts Farrah's acting abilities; Watch "The Burning Bed" and "Extremities", and you will doubt no more. Her talent truly blew me away. Her courage in making that tear shedding documentery of her painful battle with Cancer is extremely commendable. It will help others as she had hoped it would. Rest peacefully in the light Farrah and you WILL see your loved ones again. From a 16year+ breast cancer survivor.

On the occasion of Farrah's death it all comes rushing back. I remember what it was like to be a young girl in the mid 70's, thinking about my future and the kind of person I wanted to be. Then came Charlie's Angels, and it was all so clear. I wanted to be like Farrah/Jill Munroe. :-) What could be better than a full head of blonde hair-perfectly feathered to frame a face lit up by a stunning smile? What car would be cooler than the Mustang Cobra--blue on white that Jill drove on Charlie's Angels. She was a jock, an angel and a sex kitten all in one. I took up skateboarding after the episode where she used the skateboard as a mode of transportation to catch the bad guys. I bought a super realistic cap gun so I could practice all the cool poses that I saw in the show. I started a "club" with my close-in-age cousins and eventually my younger sister, and we all portrayed one of the angels. I was the oldest; it was my club; and I had first pick: so I would be Jill. For years we would argue about which angel was the best, but for me it was no contest. It was always Jill; it was Farrah. When I was in the 7th grade and got my first ever room of my own, my dad finished a headboard for my bed and varnished a photo of Farrah into the finish as a surprise. Okay, it seems a little weird now, but I think at the time I imagined that having her picture so close while I slept would by some osmosis-like transfer process imbue me overnight with some (any would be fine) of her more admirable qualities. I read the tabloids to get the details of her life. I remember learning that she was an avid tennis player (Dick Van Patten was one of her tennis buddies as I recall) and I wanted to take tennis lessons. When she married Lee Majors, I became the Six Million Dollar Man's biggest fan. When they divorced, I thought he was scum. After she was on the Battle of the Network Stars I staged our own such "battle" at a Desmarais family gathering that summer, complete with tug-of-war and the obstacle course. It's fair to say that she had a big influence on me. Once I survived those teenage years I found other role models, but there is no doubt that Farrah was one of my first and most powerful. As I have recently watched her courageously face her cancer and the probability of her death, I have again found so much to admire in her. I will miss her, but I am happy for her time here, and she will always be a part of my life and my story. This is just to honor her with a few words of remembrance.

Farrah, I don't know where to start, as I'm writing this tears a welling up in my eyes. You touched so many people and have become such a big Icon, and Idol to all. On this day you leave us you are stripped of all your suffering which is such a relief. My favorite memory is being 10 years old and staying up every single night to watch Charlies Angels at 3a.m. in the morning, lol. My parents would get mad but i never cared, you were and will always be an amazing and talented actress! Being only 18 I didn't fully grow up watching you but for just that one hour a night I was amazed. The more i think about it the more I say to myself "Aaron Spelling made you an Angel here on earth, Now he made you an Angel in your afterlife." you will always be a big part of my life, thank you so much Angel :) Forever may your spirit live! Love Always, Jorge.

I wish her peace...as she brought to so many others...and may her smile remain in the hearts of everyone as a reminder of how to really live...and how to gracefully lose to life. Bless her family..and my hope is that she shines among the angels that she herself was. Peace ..

Farrah, you have always been a beautiful person inside and out, but your inner beauty was always what we saw. Recently you became ill, and even though this happened to you, we still saw that inner beauty. We saw how much you cared about your family and others, even during very difficult moments. You have brought us so much joy over the years. You have always been a wonderful actress, Farrah, but that was only one side to the beautiful woman we all saw. Even though we didn't have the chance to know you better, we felt as if we grew up with you. Your family and friends truly were lucky and blessed in having you in their lives. Farrah, one day we will beat this disease we know as cancer. And you have been a very important part of this journey in finding a cure, and finding hope, and you have been an inspiration to so many. Thank you, Farrah, for being who you are. We will always remember you and love you. Rest in peace.

I am truly saddened today... As many others, I had formed my opinion of who this woman was based on the media coverage through the years... Then I watched "Farrah's Story" last month... what an enlightening experience... and I mean 'experience'... I felt like I had experienced a slice of her life through her video journal of the darkest days anyone could endure... and she did it with dignity... and some humor... and passion... and most of all love... love for her family and friends and appreciation of every single day on this Earth... Appreciation of a sunrise... of a good meal... of a birthday celebration with friends... Of just one more day... Rest In Peace, our Fallen Angel...

May the Peace that passes all understanding be obvious to first, Farrah's beloved child, Redmond. You can never-ever replace the love of a good mother, your mother would wish joy and blessings upon you, now go and BE the blessing. Secondly, to the love of her life Ryan, may you be finally at ease and finally take a big breath now that your Love no longer has to suffer this battle and she is now present in the Glory of the Most High God, her Heavenly Father, Creator and giver all of all good gifts. Thirdly, to her Daddy, you raised quite a girl; you did a wonderful job, well done, Sir! Your girl will live on as a courageous warrior & champion! She has now turned in her gear and has had a most Honorable Discharge. There are no tears in Heaven. Farrah now dwells in her spiritual body that is free from all earthly constraint! How exciting to know that she is truly and completely free! Take joy in knowing that you did all you could do to be with Farrah and for Farrah. Your family and friends ought to also be considered heroes, for it is often harder on others to watch and wrestle with the overwhelming feelings of helplessness. You all have been so brave, you remained steadfast in the midst of the battle, you did not run and you did not hide. May your faith in Jesus Christ be strengthened, may He be found to be the rock of your hope and salvation. May God richly bless you. Ester Souza, San Carlos, CA

She was a Phantom of delight When first she gleamed upon my sight; A lovely Apparition, sent To be a moment's ornament; Her eyes as stars of Twilight fair... And now I see with eye serene The very pulse of the machine; A Being breathing thoughtful breath, A Traveller between life and death; The reason firm, the temperate will, Endurance, foresight, strength, and skill; A perfect Woman, nobly planned, To warn, to comfort, and command; And yet a Spirit still, and bright With something of angelic light. -- by William Wordsworth

I met Farrah in 1982 at Tony Roma's, she came in with Ryan O'Neal. I was the floor manager at the time, and I escorted her to her table. She saw that I was nervous, she took my hand and started joking with me. She was a woman of class. I remeber her wonderful laugh when I joked back, I remember the inocent kiss she gave me on my cheek. Thank you Farrah for being yourself and making my decade.
