I will never forget Bea Arthur and Estelle for all the laughter they gave me down the years. I just love 'the Golden Girls' and we will never see their likes again. Please convey my sympathy to Rue and Betty. What wonderful witty peole with such talents. I would like to pay tribute to scriptwriters too. Sincerely, Dominica Wynne

I love to watch the Golden Girls and have for years. It's a delightful comedy that makes you laugh even when you don't feel like laughing. No matter what one's worries are, they fade away for a while. Her death saddens me, and she will surely be missed forever. Rest in peace, my friend.

Bea, "Dorothy", was a wonderful actress. She was very talented and I loved how she could make me laugh. I only hope that I can be as strong willed and outspoken as she was someday. You will be missed....... you were a "GOLDEN GIRL" who now is living in her "GOLDEN PALACE" with our LORD.

I grew up watching Ms. Arthur during the Maude days and a few guest appearances on different shows. I raised my daughter watching The Golden Girls. Our mother, who passed from this life into eternity in Febraury, 2006, called her 4 girls the Goldem Girls. The oldest was Sophia;s character, the next, Ms Blanche Devouroux, then Betty White...kinda knuckled headed, lol. and I was Dorothy..strong and vibrant. I consider that a privilge to be compared to ms. Arthur, and will miss her dearly..

I always enjoyed Bea, both as Maude and later as Dorothy in Golden Girls. When she playedMaude she was(for the time)at the top of her game, what a perfect charcter for her, I don't thibnk anyone else would have been able to make Maude what Bea did. Now our Golden Girl has gone to her rest after a long and absolutely glorius life. To our dear friend and lifetime companion the incomparable Bea Arthur: "Thank you for being a friend!"

I've watched Bea on the Golden Girls since the 80's when I was just a young boy. She has been a part of my life every since. Its seems that no matter what I've gone through in life the Gilrs were a constant, always making life better. I will love her forever!!

I grew up watching 'Maude.' I think it made a strong impression of me in comparison to shows like 'The Brady Bunch' and 'Leave it to Beaver' where the mother figure was sweet, docile & all about the needs of the family--all wonderful qualities but for the first time, I saw that women could have a different role in society and within the family. Bea always seemed to portray saucy, sassy women with something to say. She offered an alternative archetype of woman/mother on television. May she rest in peace.
