i never knew her but as much as malik talked about her i could have swore i did lol all the love and support she gave the wonderful family she created this woman may have no idea who i am but she has made the biggest impact on my life shortie you brought malik into my life and for that i am eternally greatful and hopefully one day i can thank you in person

I remember as a child wlkin with her to donut queen to get some "munchkins" and her leaning into my storoller and giving me the paper bag they came in and all the times we'd go to the jamaican ladies store down the street to et some bananas. I miss the times me and my shortie would go to my nanas house or certaion occassions or she'd pick us up rather just so we could spend time at her house.

The times we'd be in the back of the house on liberty street and just hang like a real family and constantly talk, while my grandfather would cook a mean batch of ribs on the grill and if i even got near him he'd chase me sayin he wanted to cut my ears off and add 'em to the dinner. All the times i'd be spoiled by my nelly and be by her side no matter what. All the times she and i would sit and watch montell for countless hours, lol, and then watch jerry springer together like more than grandson and grandmother but as two best friends. So many great memories together from birth til her death. After i knew how to correctly use phones growing up i'd always call her just to hear her voice and to always make her smile, no matter how corny my jokes may have seemded to anyone else, all that mattered was that i love my shortie. Funny thing was no matter what, when i'd always ask how she was she'd always tell me she was completely fine and never felt better and everything in '08 we'd talk more than usual, i'd stay by her side on the phone more than anything else i knew, sad part was i was so far away. her death came as an extremely big time dissappointment i cried and i cried and i cried just like i am while typing this, i miss you grandma.
