I don't know your family, but each time I heard this tragic story, a tear comes to my eye. Could it be that your son looks so much like my own, or that they are about the same age? May God bring you peace that only He can.

On April 19, 2009 a very special and Unique child went home to be with her LORD.Her name was Jenna Antoinette Doan. As parents that have to say goodbye to a child, life is never the same even though we have other children that we treasure and are so thankful for,still our hearts are torn. When I find myself greiving for my child I find strength in knowing that there are people out there that have and are walking this road and do go on and as with all the wonderful memories I have of Jenna I know that it is in those memories that we do find comfort. Thank you Travoltas for being such a good example of strenght and courage to others who also must find that to go on. Your son will live on in your hearts and so will Jenna in ours. May the peace of GOD lift your heads again and again.

My beautiful daughter Devon 9/16/97 - 7/5/09

I have never met your family but on July 5th I suffered the loss of my 11 year old daughter. She was the light of my life and I cry for her daily. I understand the excruciating pain that goes into losing a child. I am so sorry for your loss. I know you have probably heard that alot as have I but I know of no better thing to say. My heart aches for you as I know how much your family is hurting. Blessings , Samantha

Dear John and Kelly, I do not not how it feels to loose a child; however I believe it would be the most heart breaken lost a mother or father would have. God is the only one that can mend a broken heart. I know what has pulled me through when I lost my dad at the age of 15 with heart disease and just loosing my mom three years ago with colon cancer at the age of 84. A child is different. The memories are what keep you going and God helping you through it. John, I just was laid off 1/05/09 from Landmark Aviation in Greensboro, NC and I'm glad I had the opportunity of getting a copy of Private Air May/June 2007 your life how it started in aviation and then in Parade Magazine the issue with Hairspray. In each Magazine you wrote about your love for Kelly, Jett, and Ella. John you are a wonderful father and I believe you and Kelly are wonderful parents. My thoughts and prayers have been with you each day since this terrible tragedy. Just remember the memories is what keeps us going. Today is my Birthday and again I will not get a Birthday card from my mom or call. These are the hard times, but just remember the memories. My Love and Prayers are with you John, Kelly, and Ella.
