On September 10, 2008, I had the honor of hearing Millard Fuller speak at the Clinton School of Public Service.

He spoke about a passion for helping others have a square chance in life. The millions of "one things" that the Fullers did for others are seeds of love that have spread like fire.

I am sorry he is no longer among us, but his work will live on forever.

"Millard was a man who thought of coming up with a charity that would help for the environment and it still is remarkable. He will be missed."

I was so privileged to work alongside Millard and the carter's during the blitz build in Watts, California ( pictured in his tribute here ). I also worked for two weeks in Northern ireleand on a HFH build in 2006. I loved Millard, so did everyone who had the opportunity of knowing him. His was an example of a life well lived. Rest in Peace, friend. You will be greatly missed, but you have left the world a MUCH better place because you were here.
