I am gutted. this was THE band of all time and I would have loved to have seen them re-form just for one more time. Kelly made that sound so special that without him I just dont think the sound would have been so spectacular

Am deeply saddened by the death of the best musician the world has ever known. As an ELO fan, first saw Kelll back in the 80's, and recently in The Orchestra at Edinburgh's playhouse theatre. The music world has lost an icon.

I saw Kelly & The Orchestra 3 times in 2008, and the 3rd time in Northampton UK (18/10/2008), my sons and I were fortunate enough to sit in the front row and meet Kelly and the band after the show. He saw that I knew all the words to all the songs and my kids knew a lot too but not quite all. I get the feeling he would have talked all night, he seemed to love the kids and was playing around with them and encouraging them with their guitar playing. From then, we were so fond of Kelly and his death came as such a terrible shock to us. I can only imagine what a terrible sense of loss Kelly's family, friends and band members must feel, in addition to the tens of thousands of fans like my sons and I. Kelly was a talented musician and had a great and unique voice, but he was also a wonderful and kind human being. God bless you always Kelly, RIP (rock in peace) Andy, Jordan & Ross

I remember the first time I heard Kelly sing solo, you could just feel the love for music and pride he gave with every note. I never got the chance to meet him in person, but in some ways I feel like I have. Rest in Peace Kelly.
