I,as many listened too. I grew up on a dairy farm in the early 70s, work was hard and lengthy. My daily chores included cleaning the dairy barn & prepping it as I usually did a little before noon. As I was working in the 100 foot empty barn, I would turn up the little 12 or 14 inch old radio. Now this radio was covered with whitewash, splashed milk & everything else that was in a 50 head dairy barn, I dont know why it still worked., but every day at noon, the memorable stories of news &,well just things that made you wanna listen. The voice is and always will be burnt into my brain. Thankyou...these memories will always be cherished. But, I dont work on a farm anymore...
Paul Harvey, GOOD DAY.......

My beloved Aunt Artilla, who at 98-years- young went to be with the Lord in 2007, listened to Paul Harvey at noon EVERY DAY while eating her Meals-On-Wheels meal. She'd never miss his broadcast as long as she was able. I hope she has been able to meet him in Heaven.
