I met Rich at west Morris Central high school(Chester,N.J.) there was an immediate bond.Rich and I had a lot in common. we were both drummers and free spirits. Rich was the first person to enlighten me to Jazz/fusion music(something I still appreciate to this day ). we had a lot of good times together, from in depth philosophically charge conversation to music concerts at the capital theater in Passaic,N.J.I kept in touch with Rich over the years via telephone and most recently e-mail.Rich was a good friend and will be missed!with love,John D.Apgar,Jr.( aka J.A.)

Hello Nancy & Paul,
So sorry to hear this, I liked him very much and worried for him sometimes. I would sometimes call him and cheer him up by telling him "Ron's Joke Of The Week". I always got him to laugh, I was always glad that he could laugh with me.
My best to you and your family.
Ron

Dear Nancy,
Please accept Lucille's and my condolences on the loss of your brother Rich.
I know what it means to lose a sibling and the emptiness it leaves in a family, an emtiness that can never be refilled.
I don't think I have to tell you how I felt about Rich...he was a great guy to do business with and always had a joke to get a conversation started...(some good, some bad). Speaking of which, I have a file that I kept of some of his better jokes.
Please do your best to hold up over the next few days and if O.K., I'll call you in a week or so.
