My deepest condolences to Tami's family. I just found out about her passing on 1/11/2010. Last time I had checked Classmates.com, I read that Tami was ill and I tried to send her a message; but it was already too late.

I knew Tami since I first came to South River, in Willett Elementary School. Now that I think about it, I have a vivid memory of her jumping rope at recess and singing: "A penny, a nickel, a quarter and a dime...".
That was around 4th grade!! We ended up in many classes together all the way through High School. I always considered her a very nice and friendly classmate. I also met her at Douglass College, where she told me she was studying Phys. Ed. At the time I believe she was thinking of going to Bible college. I remember when she was going out with Jay and very active in the Image Players. She told us they prayed together!
I admired her for being so committed. Now that I am a very committed Bible believer myself, I pray that she remained close to the Lord and that she is enjoying her reward in Heaven, where there is no pain, only joy. I pray for peace and comfort for her family and friends.

I only met Tami twice and immediately took a liking to her. She was sweet and funny. The neatest thing was we shared the same Birthday ! I am so sorry for the loss of your beloved.

We will keep you our prayers.

Tami was a wonderful lady! I am blessed to have known her. She made me realize that life is too short to just let it pass you by. She was a crafty lady. I never met another lady that had more art supplies then Ms. Tami! I sure do miss her laugh. She is forever in my heart! I miss you Tami.
