As a close friend of Jim's sister Martha, I grew up in Escanaba, MI knowing of his scholastic accomplishments (The Pepsi Scholarship!!) and friendly manner as I was often a guest of family meals and sailing outings. If I had ever been asked to guess what his adult life would be like, my answer would match all the accolades I've just read this day!!! A lovely guy....
