I first met Dr. Glick as a patient in 1967 after a knee injury. Between the initial exam and subsequent ultrasound proceedures at his office we became friendly. He was a longtime friend of my family, but now I was getting to know him myself. He was a warm and caring indivdual. The following year I reinjured the same knee and there was now my friend Irv lining me up with my own machine for at home use. The following year, in '69 saw the end of my knee and it was Irv to the rescue. I checked in at Deepdale Hospital with his prearranged plans for me. It was Thanksgiving and there was Irv with a kind word before the operation. For the next six months, I saw him regularly and always his concern for my well being on his mind. He was a wonderful doctor, but he was more than that to me. He was a truly caring man and I shall never forget him. My sympathies to his family. Tom Levien (Arthur's and Jane's son)
