Pastor Wright has been a special favorite of mine since I got saved and joined the choir at New Covenant in Burlington NC. His music spoke volumes of inspiration to me as a christian seeking God and his plan for my like. I loved Rev. Timothy Wright and sung most of his songs in our choir such as: We're gonna make it, yes, I'm a believer, Jesus Jesus Jesus, Jesus that's my king, we are one in the spirit, Jesus Will, Thank You Lord. I love him and his music and I athank God for the gift that he gave to us in Rev. Timothy Wright. He was definitely the GodFather of Gospel Music. I shall never forget him nor his music. God bless you the family.

During my radio song ministry on WGIV and WGSP in Charlotte, North Carolina. Rev. Timothy Wright's inspirational music deeply inspired me and thousands in the Charlotte community. "I am so glad that trouble don't last always", was a popular reguest for those who were experiencing hardship or personal pain. Thanks for making my show, thanks for inspiring thousands in our area. I will see you in glory.

I'll never forget when Pastor Wright came to Melborne, FL in 1991 and did a workshop at my grandfather, Bishop L.T. Weaver's church, Greater Faith Temple COGIC. I was the choir director at the time and he paid me the greatest compliment and gave me some good sound advice. He told me,"Never stop doing whatever it was God was calling you to do (whether music or any other ministry)." He said,"It may not be conventional and people may not understand, but God does." I'll be forever greatful for his encouragement. Sleep well my brother. You've earned your reward!!!
