It was wonderful to make your acquaintance Newt, you were a most enjoyable pen-pal. Your humor and zest for love and life will always be remembered. You were a true friend to those you shared your heart with. May God hold and comfort your friends, family, and Donna now. May he hold you in his arms forever.

In memory of my Uncle Newt and to the family -- I shall never forget our days at Tabor Lake. Newt's national contribution will live on forever. God bless you, our fighting men and women, and the United States of America.

I met Newt a couple of times but right from the first you could see a man that loved life. Newt did not go a round talking about that thing that impacked so many people the POW/MIA flag. He would let other people talk about that. He seemed to just love to talk about the here and now. Love to tell jokes and he would make sure no ladies were around if the tails were just a little of color.

It was our honor (Santa & myself) to hold flags for Newt yesterday. (Mon. 5/18/09) He gave unselfishly to Americans for many years in the effort to locate our silent heros who were either POW or MIA. Your mission is over here on earth but your memory will never be forgotten. Thank you for you donation to the American People Newt.
