He was a very good and kind person. He was a great husband and cared about other people as well. He had a sense of humor that was kind of contagious. I remember one day when he came home from work he thought it was really funny that other engineers were saying"this crapped out and that crapped out." He was always trying to get people to lighten up some. He cared about everyone around him and he did a good job at work. He also took care of other family members and took an interest in their lives.

I just wanted you both to know how sorry I was to hear about Ron's passing. Ron and I were classmates in school and church throughout our years in Ellinwood. I have great memories of him and wish we could have got together last summer.
Lydia, I am sorry I haven't had the opportunity to meet you. Maybe we will still get that chance.
Please accept my deepest sympathy.

Ron was such a supportive and accepting person. I worked with him at LSI for several years. When I would beat myself up for being too passionate about work and often tearing up, he would remind me that tears were a rare gift from God. He even gave me a quotation that I kept on my cube wall for many years but returned to him when I left LSI. It comforted me and he probably had no idea how much it meant to me. He will be missed.

Ron always asked the question...whatever the question was. And he continued to ask it, until he got his answer. He had an insight into things that is irreplaceable and he is already deeply missed.

Ron and I started talking once at work because he went to college with my brother. We developed a friendship at work and it continued on after I was no longer employed there. I didn't know then that he would become my best friend. With his big heart, friendly demeanor and great smile it was inevitable. He was always there for me, and he has left a big hole in my heart.

Lydia and Cleo,
We were so sorry to hear of Ron's death. He was a very loving husband and son. I enjoyed visiting with your family at the Winn reunions. My parents, Lawrence & Irene always spoke highly of Ron, and looked forward to the family reunions.

I had an opportunity to work with Ron over the past one year. Haven’t met him in person, but interacted a lot of times during teleconferences and personal discussions. He was pleasant person to work with and I respect his ideas/views. Always remember his friendly and supportive nature. I deeply miss his voice in our regular meetings. My sincere condolences to his friends and family.

I have not met or seen Ron in person, but i have had the privilege of working with him over the past year. He was a gem of a person, always willing to help and always straightforward in his views. Ron, was always around to help me get out of sticky situations, not to forget his one liner emails on "Go get some sleep" and "Stop Working", He is truly missed everyday and will always remain in our memories forever.
